Our mission is to provide a community-based, inclusive, culturally driven, and comprehensive model of health care throughout the lifespan.
Eskasoni Health Centre offers primary care services, home care services, community health nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, mental wellness, opioid maintenance and addiction therapy, and other services at our new healthcare complex overlooking the Bras d’Or Lake.
Our Locations
Eskasoni Health Centre is the essence of our community, it allows for all community members to have local services, outreach, prevention and over all holistic care, hearing our language when you are greeted at the door and front desk is a big thing. Seeing nurses from our community, staff from our community, that sets us apart.

As the largest Mi’kmaq community, we are very fortunate to have access to health care in our community. It’s important for us to receive health care from professionals that understand Mi’kmaw ways of life, culture, and barriers in order to eliminate systemic racism.
